Join us for TGJBS’s transformative Summer 2026 Music Camp — a dynamic program where girls will dive into jazz through personalized instrument instruction, engaging history workshops, and empowering mental health sessions. Beginners build strong musical foundations, while advanced students refine their artistry and explore improvisation and self-expression. Campers will also collaborate in performance and marketing workshops to form bands, create music, perform, and learn about the music industry.
With inspiring guest performances by female musicians and a focus on representation, this camp is more than music — it’s a powerful space for artistic discovery and friendship building!

We believe that meaningful music education requires continued encouragement, mentorship, and access to opportunities throughout a young musician’s development. For many young women, particularly those who have historically been underrepresented in jazz, having someone who understands their experiences and can help them navigate the music world can make a lasting difference.We stay connected with students beyond the camp experience and provide individualized support based on their interests, goals, and needs. This can include private lesson scholarships, instrument scholarships, guidance toward additional music programs and ensembles, connections to performance and educational opportunities, and mentorship for students interested in pursuing music more seriously in high school, college, or as a career. We intentionally seek out mentors and teaching artists who can serve as meaningful role models for our students.
